Please enjoy this slide show of some of the events in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Battle of the Ice Mound - complete with British boats and a recreated ice mound. Below the slideshow there is a list of the sponsors and volunteers that made the event possible.
At the bottom of this page is a video of the Flag Ceremony held at the bicentennial event. It featured a sewn actual size replica (approx. 30 feet by 42 feet) of the Star Spangled Banner that flew over Ft. McHenry. The flag was unfurled in the field next to the Taylors Island Fire Company. A helicopter was filming the event from above.

The Battle of The Ice Mound bicentennial celebration was held on the exact date 200 years after the battle. Many thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the salute to our Eastern Shore heroes. Special thanks to all those who helped make it a great day - especially:
