Near the end of Robinson Neck Road is the Robinson Neck/Frank M. Ewing Preserve. There is a self-guiding trail that is open to the public. Below is a pamphlet that was available at the trail head in the early 2000's. Unfortunately, the pamphlet is no longer available, so it would be a good idea to print it before you go. There is no longer a sign in sheet and many of the numbered trail markers are missing. However, you should be able to recognize the area depicted as #5. It is the old homestead of "Swamp Robin" near a pond to the right side of the trail. Be aware that the trial is normally very wet so boots are a must, as is insect repellant for treks during the Spring, Summer & Fall. This pamphlet was provided to the Grace Foundation courtesy of Nature Conservancy Project Manager - Joseph Fehrer,

For more information about the preserve please see the "Cemeteries" page of this website as there is information, photos and a web link pertaining to the historic Robson Graveyard, which sits on a very remote part of the preserve.
