The tree depicted in the photos below is the Dorchester County Champion Common Persimmon. It is located next to the Chapel of Ease. It is the largest such tree in Dorchester County and as of 2023 was recorded as the 10th largest in the State of Maryland. Tom and Lisa Neild are in the top photo.
